Description: Our cinnamon sticks are approximately 15cm (6") long. True cinnamon comes from the bark of an evergreen tree native to Sri Lanka and India which grows to a height of 8-20 metres.
Each stick weighs approximately 10g. We will do our very best to get as close to as much as you order but please allow for a 2-5g difference depending on how much you order.
Cinnamon can be added to both sweet and savoury dishes, sprinkle into bread, biscuit, cake and muffin recipes, it can be added to curry powder blends, stirred into soups, stews and tagines. It works well with chicken, lamb and beef. Add to crumble toppings and the fillings of apple and pumpkin pies, sprinkle on to porridge, muesli, pancakes for a sweet spicy flavour. You can also blend it into butter and make spicy cinnamon toast, try the butter on toasted teacakes and crumpets to! Whole pieces of cinnamon can be added to pilau rice, to scented sachets and potpourri mixes and to mulled wine and cider blends.

All Herbs and Spices are currently delivered in paper bags. Please add to the delivery notes if you already have jars and we will fill them on delivery. (see jar label for weights and order a smidge less just in case)
