Description: Use cumin seeds to create authentic chutneys, pickles, spice powders, curry pastes and beautiful blends from all over the world. Bake bread, craft aromatic vegetable dishes, create homemade chili powder mixes, and sip a very refreshing cumin tea or two. Cumin will also be indispensable if you love European, Middle Eastern, North African, Mediterranean or Mexican cuisine.

SUGGESTED USE

Cumin seeds have a robust, earthy, and warming flavour, adding a tasty aromatic flavour to a range of dishes, for best results dry fry the cumin seeds before use to release more of their flavoursome aromatic oils. Add to savoury breads and scones, tagines, chilli, curry, falafel, soups, stews and sprinkle on to roast chicken with a sprinkling of lemon juice and drizzle of honey for a roast with a difference. Cumin works well with vegetables to, sprinkle on to carrots, sweet potatoes and butternut squash before roasting. Add to savoury rice dishes and hummus for a warming spicy twist.
